How to Stay Alive and Well with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
Living Well with CLL — the Movie Part 1
If you’re interested in more CLL alternative health videos, here is video #1. (I know, I know, this is my second posting of a CLL video; I posted out of order. Please forgive my inexperience at becoming a movie “professional.”) In this movie, I introduce Teresa, who came with her husband, Keith, to visit us in Michigan. I took advantage of the opportunity to record our conversations. Teresa told me she had a lot of questions, and I thought it was a good idea to share those questions online. It turns out that Teresa also has a lot of good ideas to share, even though she’s only be at it for a few months. I am impressed… and grateful for this new connection. And please return again and again as I continue to figure out how to make these videos! 🙂

I am a grandmother, a wife, a dog owner, a writer, a web master and a poet. I was diagnosed with CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia) in 2001, when I was 46 years old. I've never yet had conventional treatment, but I consider it to be my personal quest to achieve "spontaneous" remission. I want to shock the doctors who will believe that this happened all on it's own, (as if the CLL were an entity onto itself). This blog site is my effort to share all the information I've gathered over the past years in my quest for good health. If you or a loved one is facing this diagnosis (I don't like to call it a disease; that sounds too serious), you need all the information you can get! I hope you find this helpful. I hope you find this hopeful. And I would love to hear from you any time.

Hi Denise!
Just to let you that in my case the pause in increase of the lymphocytes was only temporary. The latest blood work shows a significant increase. The absolute wbc count now stands at 23 though I still don’t have lumps or any other symptoms except that I get tired. And, the oncologist does not think the two are related.
I still enjoy life as much as I can. But, now I am not positive that this phenomenon in my case will stop. I will keep you informed.
